Monroe Woman Wants Bridgeport to Pay For Damaged Uggs Boots
Gina Zamary, of Monroe, claims she was walking through the parking lot with her new Uggs boots on Jan. 25 when she tripped on a piece of rebar sticking up through the pavement.
A Monroe woman is reportedly asking the City of Bridgeport to replace her Uggs boots, claiming they were torn while she was walking through a city-owned parking lot at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.
According to a report on the CT Post, Gina Zamary, of Monroe, claims she was walking through the parking lot with her new Uggs boots on Jan. 25 when she tripped on a piece of rebar sticking up through the pavement. When she got up, uninjured, she looked down and saw that the toe of her right boot was badly torn.
Zamary recently filed a claim with the Bridgeport City Clerk’s office for $250 to replace the Uggs, according to the report.
