On August 14, 2012, a Republican and Democratic Primary will be held for the office of United States Senator. The Republican candidates are Linda McMahon and Christopher Shays, and the Democratic candidates are Chris Murphy and Susan Bysiewicz.
All four polling places will be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM for members of both parties to cast their ballots.
On July 31, 2012, the Registrars' office will be open from 9:00 AM to Noon and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for anyone wishing to register and to hear requests for adding names to the registry list by persons removed.
The last day for the registrars to receive mail registrations for Republicans and Democrats wishing to vote on August 14th is August 9th, and the final day to register in person is August 13th at noon.
