Monroe Democrats to host annual Jefferson-Jackson Recognition Gala

The Monroe Democratic Town Committee will host their annual Jefferson-Jackson Recognition Gala on September 27, 2013 at Roberto’s Restaurant – 505 Main Street, Monroe, CT.  Arrivals and appetizers will be served from 6:30 to 7:00 pm with the event starting at 7:00 pm.

The Monroe Democrats will be honoring Angelo Lisi, Jr., Agostino Modaffari and Jerome Rookasin for their decades of service to the Monroe Democratic Party and Monroe Parks & Recreation Commission. 

Angelo Lisi is a current member of the Parks & Rec Commission and has served since 1994.  Tino Modaffari is also on the Commission and was appointed in 1988.  Jerry Rookasin served on Parks and Rec for 15 years.  These three men exemplify dedication to public service and to the Town of Monroe for all of their efforts and hard work on the Parks & Recreation commission.
