Pippin (the musical)

The Oxford High School Wolverine Theatre Players will present the musical “Pippin” on March 21 and March 22.  Set in the Middle Ages, Pippin is a young prince whose father is Charlemagne.  Pippin is a whimsical musical which captivated Broadway audiences.  It is currently experiencing a revival on Broadway.  The Leading Player who is part of a troupe is blessed with the gift of magic narrates the story.  Pippin traverses through the trials of war, love, and politics before finding himself out amongst the peasants.  Come join the Oxford High School Wolverine Theatre Players as they present Pippin.

The Wolverine Theater Players are in their 7th year and have multiple awards and recognition for previous shows including: “Guys and Dolls”, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, “Into the Woods”, “Grease”, and “West Side Story."  Performances of "Pippin" will be held on Friday March 21 at 7:30 pm, a matinee performance on Saturday, March 22 at 2:00 pm and an evening performance also on Saturday March 22 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.  Tickets are available at the Oxford High School main office by calling (203) 888-2468 or online at www.ShowTix4u.com. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets will also be available at the door on a first come, first serve basis.
