Boy Scout Troop 62 has been an important part of the the Stepney community for over 60 years. Meetings are Monday nights at 7pm during the school year at the fire house. Boys ages 11 through 17 are eligble to join. Campouts are held once a month, 12 months of the year. Dues are $95/yr. Parents are encouraged to volunteer but are not required.
If you like campfires, making friends, backpacking, skiing, cycling, rafting, fishing, tubing and rock climbing give scouting a try. If you like traveling to places like Washington DC, Williamburg, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, Cape Cod, Cooperstown or Lake George, you owe it to yourself to learn more.
