A crew toiled on a humid Tuesday morning while preparing Fireman's Field for the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department's annual Carnival fundraiser, which will debut Wednesday tonight.
Rides, game booths and concession stands were set up under the direction of Lou Romano, vice president of operations for Stewart Amusements.

The Carnival will be held from 6 to 11 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday.
