Monroe Historical Society Offers Week-long History Camp for Kids

Monroe  children ages seven through eleven will get to travel back in time this summer as the Monroe Historical Society presents a week-long hands-on summer camp at their facility.

During the week of July 28th from 9:30 - 1:30 kids gather at the Beardsley House, 31 Great Ring Road in Monroe to learn about how people lived in "the olden days." Teachers will lead fun workshops for kids who will experience historical events and everyday life of days gone by. Art lessons, crafts, games, cooking and exciting activities will have young minds learning creatively about history and how it connects to the modern day.

Pre-registration is required in advance as space limited. Registration forms can be found at www.Monroehistoricsociety.org  The cost of the week-long camp is $100 for members plus a $10 materials fee (110.00)  and $125 for non- members plus a $10 materials fee (135.00).
