Monroe Road Construction May Cause Minimal Delays for Next Two Weeks

Most construction is for road restoration, taking place until July 18.

Several Monroe roads may see minimal delays for the next two weeks, as construction takes place Monday to Friday from about 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until July 18

The Monroe Department of Public Works has announced construction on the following roads:

  • Twin Brook Terrace, from Capitol Lane to Saxony Drive
  • Cutler’s Farm, from Bug Hill to Aspetuck Lane
  • Hattertown Road, from Route 59 to Stanley Road
  • Hattertown Road, from Huntingtown Road to Newtown Town Line
  • Judd Road, from Hattertown Road to Easton Town Line
  • Knapp Street, from Hattertown Road to Easton Town Line
  • Stanley Road, from Route 59 to Route 25

Most of these are road restoration projects, though Twin Brook Terrace work concerns storm drain catch basins.

Construction is subject to change based on weather and worker availability,
