Sign Up to March in Monroe's Annual Memorial Day Parade

Monroe's Memorial Day Parade has a date, a route and a theme. Now it just needs you.

Monroe’s annual Memorial Day Parade, “Honoring Our Heroes: Past and Present,” is set for Sunday, May 25, and the parade committee is accepting applications to join in the march.

The parade is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Lower Elm Street and Route 111 and continue to the New War Memorial at Town Hall Green, where a memorial ceremony will be held.

(The parade will be canceled if it rains on May 25, however the ceremony will still be held, inside Town Hall.)

Organizations that would like to walk in the parade are urged to download and fill out the form above and deliver it to the First Selectman’s Office or send it by email to vstone@monroect.org.

The form also includes important information for marchers on the second page.
