Soup Thyme has been a popular lunchtime spot in town during its seven years in Monroe with soups like Vegetable and Beef Barley and Broccoli Cheddar.
On Friday afternoon, Patch asked Soup Thyme's staffers what the best selling soup is.
"Our best selling soup would be the Chicken Pot Pie," said Beth Kovacs. "It has celery, carrots and chunks of chicken. It looks creamy, but there's no cream. And pie crust goes on top to make it authentic."
Ron Lee owns Soup Thyme, 450 Monroe Turnpike, and he's also the chef.
Lee and Tate Strack, one of his employees, both agree that the other favorites, which are also sold everyday, are the Butternut and Chicken Spinach Gorgonzola soups.
