St. Peter's Episcopal Church enjoyed a sunny day when it's annual Apple festival got underway on Saturday. A large crowd ate candy apples, jams, jellies and desserts and bought crafts, clothing and artwork from vendors' tents set up on the Monroe Green.

The festival will be held again this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
