'Curtains' Will Go Up in April

The Monroe Middle School production of the musical comedy is coming to the Jockey Hollow Middle School auditorium next month

A talented young cast will perform the Monroe Middle School production of the Broadway musical Curtains at Jockey Hollow School next month.

Director David Halliwell said actors from grades 5-8 in Jockey Hollow and Chalk Hill will perform their own version of the comedy set in Boston in 1959. A police detective moonlighting as a theater fan tries to solve the murder mystery on the set of Robbin' Hood of the Old West.

Judy Abbatiello, owner of Monroe Dance Academy, is the choreographer in this play, which features a number of dance routines.
