2012 Teen Digital Photo Contest at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library

Starting April 1 through April 26, the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library will run a digital photo contest for teens in grade 7 to 12. This year’s theme is Close to Home. All entries must be the entrant’s own original work and minimally post-processed. Limit one color entry and one black & white entry per person. Photos should be 300 pixels per square inch and no more than 3000 x 2400 pixels. All photos must be appropriate material for public viewing Entries will be posted on our Teen Photo page on the web and should be submitted by April 26th as an e-mail attachment in .jpg format to reference@ewml.org with the subject heading: “Photo Contest.” Be sure to include name, phone number, and grade level in the email. Photos will be judged in two age groups: · 7th-9th grade· 10th-12th grade and two categories: · Best color image· Best black and white image. Winners will be announced by May 11th on the library’s Teen Blog.
