Christ Church Tashua 35th Annual Apple Festival

The annual event will be held at the church grounds at 5170 Madison Avenue,  Trumbull on Saturday, October 6 from 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, October 7 from 11am-4pm.  The event will feature the church's famous homemade apple pies, a variety of baked goods, candy and caramel apples.

There will also be a wide variety of crafters, a Kid's Zone with bounce houses, face painting, games and children's crafts will all be featured. Returning to the festival this year will be Good As Gold Girls who will buy your old gold at a premium price.

Mums will be sold, along with locally grown apples and cider from the fall harvest: pumpkins, gourds, squashes, six varieties of apples, Indian corn, and fall decor.

Booths will sell jewelry, pottery, kitchenwares, a variety of crafts. The church will raffle a front load washer & dryer, ipad, gift certificate to Marie's after dark and a ipod nan 8GB.  Tickets costing $1 will be sold at the fair, and are available from members now.

Money raised from the fair will help support the outreach of the church to our local community food banks and shelters and completion of the interior of the parish hall. For more information on the fair or raffle, call Cat Lamy, Apple Festival Committee, at 203-268-5566.
