Monroe Four Freedoms Project: Freedom of Worship

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in conjunction with the Monroe Four Freedoms Project will host a lecture and slide presentation by Tom Daly of the Norman Rockwell Museum. As the Museum’s Curator of Education, Daly will offer historical insights to Rockwell’s iconic paintings known as the “Four Freedoms.”

This event will be held in the Ehlers Meeting Room located in the lower level of the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library and is open to anyone wishing to attend. Following the lecture, attendees will be invited upstairs to a coffee reception and to view new artwork and media recently donated by the Monroe Four Freedoms Project.

The art work that will be presented is the second in the “Four Freedoms” series known as “Freedom of Worship.” Donated books and media on world religion and spirituality will also be on display for the public.
