Stepney Volunteer Fire Co. Lobster Clambake

Families can enjoy good food and music at the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department's 9th annual Lobster Clambake on Sept. 4 at its 88 Main St. firehouse.

All proceeds are used to purchase equipment for the fire company.

A deejay will provide entertainment and adults have a choice between lobster or steak with red potatoes and a dinner roll. Tickets are $22 and may be bought at the door or by calling 203-268-0236.

There is also a children's meal, including a hamburger or hotdog, chips and a  drink for $5.

A dozen clams, either steamed or raw on a half-shell will also be sold.
