Teen Writers Slam at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library

Teens in 7th-12th grade - join us for our third annual celebration of  writing in honor of National Poetry Month!  Come read any short work you have written; poetry, short story, essay, or other; to compete for prizes. Each reader gets three minutes to present. Everyone who reads will receive a gift and a certificate of participation from our panel of local celebrity judges. Families are encouraged to attend. Refreshments and prizes provided by the Friends of the Library. Registration is required at reference@ewml.org or by calling the Adult Services Desk at 203-452-2850 x 6.
