Grab & Go Kids Planner: March 9

Where/When: Trumbull Nature & Arts Center, 7115 Main Street,  Trumbull - Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why Go: The whole family can learn about the history of maple sugaring along with the modern process of collecting sap and making it into maple syrup.  In addition, sample a warm stack of delicious pancakes with real maple syrup!

Pricing: Members $5/person, Non-members $6/person, children 8 and under $2 and children under 2 are free.

Where/When:  Downtown Cabaret Theater, 263 Golden Hill Street, Bridgeport, CT - Saturday, March 12th at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 at noon and 2:30 p.m.

Why Go:  Kids will love this age old fairytale of a boy’s adventure that started with the sale of the family cow for a bag of beans that grow magically into a huge beanstalk.

Why Go:  This animated super hero comedy will have you and your kids laughing until you cry starring  the voice of Will Farrell as Megamind and Tina Fey as Roxanne Ritchi.

  • St. Patrick’s Day Puppet Show

Where/When: The Putnam House, 12 Depot Place, Bethel,  - Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go:  The Ultraviolet Puppet Theater entertains, educates and inspires children while teaching them an important lesson about gratitude. This fun, interactive program will capture the attention of children of all ages with singing and dancing puppets.

Lunch starts at 11 a.m. and the show starts at noon.

Why Go:  This "After School" Enrichment Class is for children ages 5 and up. Children will gain a well rounded understanding of artistic style using pencils, chalks, pastels, collage, paints and sculpture.  This class is also held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
