Families with young children are buying up copies of "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons" at Linda's Story Time, 447 Monroe Turnpike. Store owner Linda Devlin says the latest addition to the popular children's book series is her hottest seller right now.
"Kids flip out over this," she said Tuesday. "They're rocking all over town."
The book has a downloadable song, which Devlin said allows children to rock to it.
"It's funny," she said.
"Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons" is created and illustrated by James Dean and written for children age 4 to 7.
Devlin's other two top sellers are "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, which is a New York Times best seller, and "The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
