Mr. Mac's to Close Saturday in Honor of Ray McPadden Jr.

A sign on the door of Mr. Mac's Canteen, 838 Main Street, informs patrons that both of the eatery's locations will be closed Saturday, when relatives and friends of the late Raymond F. McPadden Jr., 49, attend his funeral service at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. McPadden of Shelton died beside his truck, while plowing snow in the blizzard last Saturday.

Today, calling hours are being held at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The sign on the door of Mr. Mac's Canteen's Monroe location reads:

Mr. Macs Canteen in Monroe and Milford will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 16th, in honor of Ray McPadden Jr. — our friend, brother, father and son.
