Amateur singers and musicians will take turns showing off their talent during open mic night at Last Drop Coffee Shop & Cafe, 435 Main St., this Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Jay Patel, owner of Last Drop, says the event will feature Jackie & Rick, a popular duo.
The nights are called the Lucky Souls Open Mic Production and the events are held on the first and third Thursdays of every month.
"Anyone can bring an instrument and go up," Patel said Wednesday. "The last five times we had this the place was packed. Tomorrow, I think there will be 50-60 people in the cafe."
