Monroe Chamber Welcomes Local Businesses with Ribbon Cutting Celebrations

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce announces the ribbon cutting celebrations of two new businesses in town, Koko Fitclub, located at 447 Monroe Turnpike, on September 19th, 2013 at 5:00 pm and The Collaborative Women’s Center located at 500 Monroe Turnpike, on October 2nd, 2013 at 5:00 pm. 

 

Koko Fitclub is a nationwide health club and fitness center. Owned by Jeff and Amy Pressman from Monroe, the club specializes in its use of technology to combine strength training, cardio exercise and nutritional planning specific to each person. They offer a versatile fitness program, specialized to the needs of individual clientele. Koko Fitclub aims to strengthen the body from the inside out, through specialized workouts, nutritional plans, and self-adjusting exercise regimens.

The Collaborative Women’s Center offers women business owners a place to work. Owned and operated by Tracy Mate, the center specializes in its ability to rent desk space as well as rooms with which entrepreneurs can work quietly, hold meetings, or teach classes. Classes such as watercolors, knitting, and home furnishings as well as events such as direct sales and prescription wellness are all open to the public to attend.
