The Discovery Zone Hosts 4th Annual Spring Egg Hunt

Come to the Discovery Zone March 30th for an egg hunt like no other! For more information, or to register online visit www.webbmountaindiscoveryzone.com

Come to the Discovery Zone March 30th for an egg hunt like no other!  Children will search the woods along the Discovery Zone trails for eggs, but not Spring’s typical neon plastic eggs.  These eggs have been painted to mimic eggs of native Connecticut birds such as hawks, pheasants and bluebirds.  Hunting for speckled eggs amongst the underbrush takes a sharp eye and uses nature to increase children’s awareness skills in a fun way!

When the eggs have been found, children return to the outdoor classroom where CT Audubon of Fairfield has an interactive presentation featuring a feathered friend or two to give children a better understanding of the birds that would have laid eggs with the colors and patterns just discovered and gives everyone a chance to meet real live birds!

The event is $6.00 per child (adults are free) and space is limited to 30 families per session, so register early!  For more information, or to register online visit www.webbmountaindiscoveryzone.com or email at discoveryzone@earthlink.net
