Hundreds Lost Power Amid Saturday's Rainstorm
CL&P reported 471 were without power as of 12:34 a.m. on Sunday.
After being hit by strong winds and heavy rain on Saturday, hundreds of Monroe residents lost power. According to the Connecticut Light & Power Outage Map, 471 town customers did not have electricity as of 12:34 Sunday morning. That's five percent of CL&P's 7,905 Monroe customers.
