Snow is in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 15 and 16. The National Weather Service is calling for a hazardous weather outlook for northern Fairfield County, mainly in the form of snow with sleet and freezing rain mixed in, beginning late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
"While expected snow and ice amounts do not currently meet National Weather Service warning criteria... there is a chance that more significant snowfall could occur during this time," the NWS stated.

- Wednesday: Snow and sleet before 1pm, then a chance of rain between 1pm and 4pm. High near 39. Light and variable wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
