Why are you running?

To work to improve future growth and insure that the economic and residential development take into consideration the   overall environmental, traffic, land use and well being of Monroe residents.

What are the three biggest issues facing Monroe?

Increasing tax base, Minimizing traffic congestion, orderly development.

What can the Planning & Zoning Commission do to keep the town in the right direction?

Make it easier for developers to do business in Monroe.  Establish a process that eliminates the need for interpretation or potential misunderstanding. Emphasis on following Monroe’s Plan of Conservation and Development as a guide to our future.

What skills and attributes make you a good fit for Planning & Zoning Alternate Commissioner?

Monroe resident 45 years, Current incumbent with knowledge and understanding of how the P&Z Commission functions. Regularly attends meetings, active participant who recognizes and understands the need to maintain a high level of integrity, transparency and continuity.
