Special Voter Registration Session On Oct. 19

The Monroe Registrars of Voters will hold a special voter registration session for the November 5th Municipal Election on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 208 of Monroe Town Hall.

The registrars remind the public that the last day to register by mail for the election is Oct. 22 as the postmark date. The last day to register in person is Oct. 29 when the registrars are in their town hall office from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There are special exceptions to this rule for 17-year-olds turning 18 after the in person registration date and before Nov. 5 and for new residents moving into Monroe after Oct. 29. Their deadlines are 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. New residents must provide proof of their recent move to Monroe.
