College Planning Seminar: Marketing the Student Athlete@EWML

Anthony Luther, Certified College-Planning Specialist, discusses college planning focused on the High School Athlete who intends to play in college. The seminar is not limited to athletic scholarships, but a broad range of issues that need to be considered. Not all athletes receive athletic scholarships, so it’s important the athlete and family need to know how to work with the schools to lower the cost of attendance. Mr. Luther will emphasize the importance of choosing the right school for the right reason and limiting your undergraduate work to 4 years by avoiding transfers. Sample documents and methods to communicate with coaches of perspective colleges will be shared.
