Fairfield County Walk to End Lupus Now

WALK TO END LUPUS NOW: HELP US SOLVE THE CRUEL MYSTERY



Walk in Fairfield County to help raise money for lupus awareness.

FARMINGTON, CT – The
Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter, Inc. will be hosting their signature
Walk to End Lupus Now event on Sunday, November 3 at the Westfield
Trumbull Mall in Trumbull, Connecticut. Registration begins at 8 am, with the
Walk starting at 9. Participants are asked to meet at the Lord & Taylor
entrance on the second floor of the mall.



            The Walk to End Lupus Now is Connecticut’s largest
lupus awareness event, and this year marks its 40th anniversary. “Lupus affects an estimated 17,000 people in
Connecticut alone, but many people do not understand what lupus is or what it
does, so it is crucial to increase awareness through events like our Walk to
End Lupus Now
,” says Corrianne Gagliardi, Director of Development and
Communications, “the walk will include fun for the whole family, make sure to
come out and join us!” Gagliardi adds.

            Join many walkers
from around Connecticut for a half-day day of fun, food, and friendship with
activities for the whole family. The Walk will include a variety of
entertainment, including a DJ, airbrush tattoo artists, a raffle, and more. For
