Farmers' Market has the best of Summer

This Week

Singer and songwriter Griffin Anthony returns to the market this week with his signature blend of soulful Americana that not only includes original music, but some familiar songs as well.

Master Gardeners from the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension System's Educational Outreach Program will be available to answer questions about all aspects of gardening and composting.

Seller of Educational games, toys & specialty books, Discovery Toys will be at the market with samples of what they sell as well as information on how their products have set the standard for the last 35 years.

About the Market

The Monroe Farmers’ Market is a seasonal market focused on sustainable and locally produced food. We offer fresh, locally-grown, certified organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic-free beef, pork and chicken, fresh pasta and sauces, pickles, hummus, gluten-free baked goods, prepared foods, cut flowers, herbs, handmade soaps, goat's milk products, cheese, raw honey, local maple syrup, jam, pies, homespun yarn, seafood, eggs and more!

All of the items sold at the market are grown or made in Connecticut by people who care deeply about the land and who make thoughtful, conscientious choices for its stewardship. Join us every Friday on the Town Green at the gazebo for the freshest products around.
