The Mishkan


Israel Day Camp will once again light a Menorah in celebration of the Chanukah


holiday at the following locations & times.



SUNDAY,


DECEMBER 1ST, AT 6:00 P.M. ON SHERMAN GREEN in Fairfield, CT.,



MONDAY, DECEMBER


2ND, AT 6:00 P.M. ON EASTON GREEN, in Easton, CT.,

TUESDAY,


DECEMBER 3RD, AT 6:00 P.M. IN FRONT OF TRUMBULL TOWN HALL,.

DECEMBER 4TH, AT 6:00 P.M. ON MONROE TOWN GREEN.

Hundreds of participants are expected at this year’s events.



This year marks the
TWENTY


FOURTH year that Mishkan has been lighting the Menorah in


Fairfield, the
TWENTY EIGHTH in Easton & Trumbull, the SECOND-annual in Monroe, and the SIXTY


EIGHTH
year of serving the entire Fairfield County region by


providing vital programs and assistance to those in need.  This yearly event is held in conjunction with


the holiday of Chanukah to facilitate an awareness of this joyous holiday.

These annual events


will be attended by distinguished, honorable First Selectmen of Fairfield,


Easton, Trumbull & Monroe - Mr.
Michael C. Tetreau, Mr. Adam Dansby, Mr. Tim Herbst & Mr. Steve


Vavrek, in addition to the Chief’s of the Police & Fire departments of


these towns, as well as many other town officials and dignitaries. We are also


expecting representation of the State Police Dept. and local agents of the FBI


field office in Bridgeport.

Mishkan Israel Day Camp


began in Bridgeport, CT in 1945 by Rabbi & Mrs. Israel Stock – emissaries


of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchock Schneersohn of blessed memory.  In 1975, it branched out to include Stamford


and the surrounding communities of Fairfield County.

Mishkan Israel Day Camp is located in a state of the art,


air-conditioned facility right in the heart of North Stamford, and serves


youngsters from throughout the entire Fairfield County area during the summer


months.

EVENTS ARE


OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND ARE FREE-OF-CHARGE. 


REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED, MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT, SPECIAL CHILDRENS
