Signs of Spring Nature Walk

If you’ve had enough of winter, and spring can’t come
a moment too soon, join naturalist Tom Parlapiano on a nature walk around Great
Hollow Lake on Saturday, March 15.  Using a variety of our senses, we
will explore the woods, the water and the sky looking for signs that spring is
just around the corner.  These may include early-blooming flowers,
creepy crawly critters, singing birds, tracks of animals emerging from
hibernation and even swelling tree buds.  These signs have helped
shake off the winter blues for generations of New Englanders, and they may work
for you too.   Ages six and older welcome with an adult.  Dress
for the weather.  Rain or heavy snow will cancel this
activity.

Meet at the Concert picnic area of Wolfe Park located at
285 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe.  Time:  10-11:45 am.  Fee:
$5 per family.  When registering on-line for this program, you only need
to register one family member and indicate in question area how many members
are going in your group.
