Abandoned Fawn Cries for its Mommy
A Hattertown Road woman found a baby deer on her property.
On June 6, a Hattertown Road woman reported finding a fawn on her property crying with no sighting of its mother coming to feed it for three days after that.
Then last Sunday, Animal Control Officer Ed Risko said the family started feeding the fawn after contacting Wildlife Crisis Rehab, which later picked up the animal to rehabilitate it at its headquarters in Weston.
