A passing motorist reported seeing a bobcat struck and killed by a vehicle on the Route 111 bridge near Ryegate Terrace at 9:47 a.m. on Dec. 9.
Monroe Animal Control said the bobcat weighed approximately 23 pounds, was 32 inches long and 17 inches tall. The animal was removed from the roadway.
