"How's the Market?"

As a realtor, I get asked this question quite a bit. Fortunately there is Good News to report! According to Trulia, the average price per square foot for Monroe CT from Sept. 13, 2013 - Dec. 13, 2013 was $185, an increase of 18.6% compared to the same period last year. "This year was the second year of the home price recovery, prices aren’t increasing as fast now as they were at the start of the year and that’s a good thing -- it means they are less likely to get back into bubble territory,” says Jed Kolko, chief economist at Trulia. This may be a rather lengthy answer for a holiday cocktail party but the news is certainly worth celebrating.
