Kimball Trying to Sneak a Walmart into Monroe

Recently there was a Inland Wetland meeting for 2 Victoria Drive in Monroe.  In it the Kimball Group is seeking approval to build a 156K square foot retail facility.  Although, they do not want to release the name of the tenant. 

This is a tactic used by WALMART to bypass any public outcry about having a Walmart in their town. 

I for one moved to Monroe to escape big box stores like Walmart.  They will add almost no tax base and the jobs Vavrek will tout will not be those anyone paying property taxes on a Monroe home can afford. 

I see the tactic by Kimball and Vavrek to conceal the tenants name as a move to mute the residents of Monroe.

Write your town council members, Mr. Vavrek, The Kimball Group as well as Walmart and tell them not to ruin our town.
