Tired of Voting on the Budget

I am so tired of this budget voting!!!  When my husband and I moved here from North Jersey two years ago we thought we found a nice town.   Monroe was close enough to Manhattan for him to commute in three days a week and far enough away from the city for us to raise a family.  The town we came from in New Jersey didn’t have budget votes, we just paid what we were told to pay.  Our realtor never told us about all this referendum business.  I don’t understand why everyone just doesn’t vote for the budget.  I know that taxes are going up but things cost money and you have to pay for them.  If you can’t afford the community you live in then move.  There are retirement communities that are less expensive, many are in Florida and in point of fact that is where my parents live now.  I hope Tuesday is the last time I have to go out to vote!
