The Parks and Recreation Office has been relocated from Chalk Hill to the Town Hall. We are now located in the old library section on the left. Meditation and Relaxation - Session 1 is an 8-week program beginning 1/15 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm. Cost is $120 for residents and $130 for non-residents. Classes were originally scheduled for Chalk Hill and may be held at the Senior Center.
Yoga - Session 3 will begin on January 14. The morning session (10-11:15 am) is on Mondays and Wednesdays and will conclude February 20. The evening session (7-8:15 pm) will be on Mondays and Thursdays and will conclude February 21. Cost is $45 per session. Classes were originally scheduled for Chalk Hill and may be held at the Senior Center.
Zumba - Morning classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are held at 9-10 am. Evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are held at 6-7 pm. Visit our website for further details.
Zumba Toning- This new program is offered by our Zumba instructor, Diane Tatnall. Light handweights (1-3 lbs) can be used. You may purchase zumba toning weights through Diane. Monday evening classes will be held January 14 through March 4 at 6:30-7:30 pm. Cost is $72. Classes originally scheduled for Chalk Hill.
Karate - Session 8 begins January 15 through March 7. This 8 week program is for ages 4 through adult and is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are held at the Monroe Elementary School Gym. Visit our website for times and fee.
Adult Volleyball - Play is on Tuesdays (January 8 - April 9) and Wednesdays (Januray 9 - April 10) nights at the Chalk Hill gym 7:30-9:30 pm. Cost is $45 residents and $55 non-residents.
After School Activity Programs - These programs offer acting classes, drawing and painting classes, and modern dance. Please visit our website for details.
Etiquette Classes - A class on social, communication and dining skills is being offered for boys and girls grades 3-5 starting January 12 on Saturdays 9-9:50 am. Cost is $80.
