Winter Karate Offered by Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation's Karate program is designed for students to build confidence, focus and discipline as well as respect and self-esteem.  Students will also improve their balance, coordination, strength and flexibility while having fun.  Certified instructors will not only help your child in these areas but also keep your child healthy through exercise.  Age appropriate verbal and physical self-defense is taught in a safe and fun environment.  Try a free class.  For more information call 203-936-7508 or visit www.superiorkarate.net.  

Session 9 will be held March 4 through May 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (no class April 3, 15, 17).  Classes are in the gym at Monroe Elementary School.  Little Ninjas, age 4-6, meet at 6:30-7:00pm.  Beginner Karate, age 7-adult, meet at 7:15-8:00pm.  Advanced Karate, age 7-adult, meet at 8:00-8:45pm.  Family discount for students attending two classes per week:  the 2nd-4th family members get a $50 discount.  Please visit our website www.monorerec.org for further details.

Register online at www.monroerec.org.  Payment is due online or in the Parks and Recreation Office prior to participation.  Payment CANNOT be brought to karate.
