From the Farm: Another Hurricane Prep Thought

This morning the news on Irene is not what we had hoped for.

Do you have hanging baskets or container gardens? Irene's strong winds could turn them into some type of projectile. Get your hanging baskets on the ground. Get all your container plants into a sheltered area.

As you review your grounds, look for any other objects that could be caught by the wind. Wind chimes, garden ornaments or even a wheel barrow could be picked up and thrown around.
