The Monroe Police Department sent out a Code Red notification this morning informing residents of a parking ban during Saturday's snowstorm. The following information was provided:
Due to the significant snow event impacting Fairfield County on Saturday, December 14, a PARKING BAN will be in effect for all Monroe roads. Please ensure that all vehicles are removed from the roadway as well as any portable basketball hoops, or other items that would inhibit snow removal efforts. Any vehicles parked on the roads will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
