A Pesky Pig on Hannah Lane

A woman told police her neighbor's pig caused damage to her yard. Officers also received a report of a wayward cow.

A Hannah Lane woman told police that her neighbor's pig got loose on April 8 and damaged her lawn, but she specifically asked to speak to someone from Monroe Animal Control.

Monroe Animal Control Officer Ed Risko said a visit was arranged on April 10 and the pig owner was issued a complaint advisory notice for creating a public disturbance.

The homeowner who filed the complaint was unable to provide a written estimate of the damages and was given a written warning herself for failure to license her dog, according to Risko.
