Body Found in Pepper Street Home. No Foul Play Suspected

Officers did a welfare check of a house on Pepper Street after the relative of the man living there became concerned

Police officers were called to a house on Pepper Street at 2:30 Thursday afternoon, after a family member of the man living there had expressed concern over not having heard from him in a long time. Officers found the body of the resident, who is in his early 60s. No foul play is suspected.

"He was obviously deceased for a long period of time," Police Capt. Michael Flick said.

Stepney firefighters assisted officers in entering the residence, according to Flick.
