Code Red: 1,000 CL&P Customers Lost Power

The following is the text from the Code Red message that went out at 3:29 p.m. 

Good evening, today is November 24. This is a Code Red Advisory message from the Monroe Emergency Management and Monroe Police Department.

Currently 1,000 CL&P customers are without power in Monroe. CL&P is working to fix these outages. In the meantime the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library will be open as a warming center until 9 p.m. tonight.
