A Fender Bender On the Turnpike

A Jeep Cherokee blew through a red light and collided with a Toyota on Saturday, according to police.

John Babina Jr. shared a photo of a two-vehicle accident that took place on Monroe Turnpike at around 6 o'clock on Saturday night. Police said nobody was injured.

According to the police report, a 17-year-old female driving a Jeep Cherokee south on Route 111 failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of Elm Street, where a man, 46, was crossing toward Trumbull in a Toyota MR2.

Police said the jeep struck the Toyota on its rear-side panel.

The teenager was issued an infraction for failure to obey a traffic control signal.

It was a sunny day with bright yellow flowers growing in front of the gazebo, but you can't see thatRead More from how it was positioned. I'll eventually be able to change the home background myself. But not yet unfortunately. You're right, though. It would be nicer to have the leaves on the trees etc.
