Four Chainsaws Stolen from Landscaping Business

Quality First Lawn and Tree, 437 Pepper Street, reported four chainsaws stolen Dec. 23. An employee called police after opening one of the tool boxes on a work truck and discovering one of the chainsaws missing. 

Looking around the area, police said he observed three chainsaw blades on the bucket of an excavator parked nearby and another fully assembled chainsaw on the ground near one of the trucks.

When officers arrived, the employee checked the remaining work trucks on the site and discovered three more chainsaws missing, according to the report.

Police said the chainsaws were last seen on Dec. 22. The missing power tools are described as: An $879 Husqvarna, a $1133.95 Husqvarna and two $200 Stihl saws.
