Fraudulent Credit Card Purchases in Israel & Hawaii

An Old Tannery Road woman told police fraudulent purchases were made on her credit card in Israel and Hawaii within hours of each other on July 19.

Police said she was contacted by USAA Bank and told of those purchases and numerous attempts at online purchases, which the bank declined.

The victim was reimbursed for all but the $148 charge in Hawaii, police said, adding she did not disclose how much was spent in Israel nor what was purchased.
