Glue in the Door Locks, Damage to a Gazebo

The assistant property manager of Northbrook Condominiums told police Wednesday that someone damaged a maintenance truck and a gazebo at the complex.

An employee found the driver and passenger side door locks to his white Chevrolet had been glued, police said, adding he was eventually able to get them unglued.

During his check of the property, the employee noticed that four rails of the west-side gazebo had been kicked out, according to the report.

Police estimate the damage to the gazebo to cost $200 to fix, but had no estimate on the door locks because it is not yet known if there is any permanent damage.

The incident occurred sometime between May 9 and May 15, police said.
