Little Tikes and Police to Investigate Fraud Complaint

A Monroe woman reported an unauthorized charge of $244 on her credit card for a Home & Garden Playhouse.

A 53-year-old Monroe woman learned that an unauthorized charge of $244.80 was made on her First Niagara Bank credit card to buy a Home & Garden Playhouse from The Little Tikes Co. and reported the incident to police on Friday.

She told police she hadn't used her credit card for several months when she learned of the charge, according to the report. Police said she confirmed the charge with the bank, then called The Little Tikes Co., which declined to release any information until she filed a police report.

Both police and The Little Tikes Co. will investigate the fraud complaint.
