Matthew Slocum in Custody in New Hampshire

Police in New Hampshire have Matthew Slocum in custody and say that Loretta Colegrove, his girlfriend, and Raymond Slocum, their infant son, are safe, according to the Union Leader of Manchester, NH.

The Amber Alert for Colegrove and the baby has been lifted.

Matthew Slocum is wanted for questioning in a case of a fire and triple homicide that took place just outside of Albany, NY, Wednesday morning, according to police.

The black Ford vehicle driven by Matthew Slocum has been found in New Hampshire, according to NBC affiliates.

There were possible sightings earlier this evening of Slocum, his girlfriend Loretta Colegrove and their infant son Raymond Slocum in Gilsum, N.H., according to WMUR.com in New Hampshire.

Slocum is reportly holding Colegrove and the infant against their will, according to police. The Amber Alert remains in effect.

State police in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York are actively searching for a 23-year old New York man for questioning in a triple homicide committed early this morning in New York State.

The suspect, Matthew Slocum, may be armed, according to police, and holding his girlfriend and their child against their will.

Slocum, who is believed to be traveling in a 2003 black two-door Ford Mustang bearing NY registration DED1769, was spotted in the town of Adams, Mass., at approximately 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Connecticut state police reported the vehicle was sighted heading south on I-91 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, and various police and media reports have placed the vehicle in the New Haven area.

Slocum, a white male, is described as approximately 5’11’ to 6’ tall and weighing about 195 pounds, with brown hair and swastika tattoos on his forearms.

The woman, Loretta Colegrove, 25, is described as 5’8” tall, 194 pounds, with long reddish brown hair, which she typically wears pulled back. Colegrove was last seen wearing a light blue tank top with thin straps, blue jeans and flip-flop sandals.

The child, Raymond Slocum, is four months old.

Slocum is being sought by police for questioning in conjunction with a triple homicide and fire that occurred early Wednesday near Albany, N.Y., according to The Boston News Channel.

Anyone who sees Slocum, Colegrove, the child or their vehicle is urged to call 911.
